2025 Injury Doesn’t Define You Scholarship

At MJB Law Offices, we understand the challenges of living in one of the busiest cities in America. A large, concentrated population can lead to a higher chance of injury, more necessary precautions, and more resources being needed to keep Chicago’s population safe.

No matter the many difficulties and obstacles that may come from living in a busy city, we believe that everyone should have the chance to pursue their passions and challenge themselves. The uniqueness that comes from each individual’s background is something that should be celebrated, no matter the hardships you have faced to get to where you are today.

This scholarship aims to bring to light how your experience with an injury shaped you and how you didn’t let it define your future. Through your submission, you may be eligible to receive $1,000 towards furthering your education.

The deadline to apply is September 30, 2025.

Eligibility
  • The scholarship is available to current high school seniors, vocational students, college students, or graduate students who are legal residents of the United States, living in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia, and are enrolled in a vocational program or a two- to four-year post-secondary institution for the Spring 2026 semester.
  • Employees of MJB Law Offices, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and spouse), and persons living in the same households of such individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in the competition.
